We took the girls out for a stroll in the woods today at Bonneyville Mill Country Park. Bonneyville Mill is a sawmill and grist mill that was built during the 1830's. Think Little House on the Prairie. The girls love it. The Park is surrounded by of a couple hundred acres of rolling meadows, the Little Ekhart River, a few small water falls, woodlands, marshlands, and about seven mills of trails. Every so often, we throw on our old clothes and walk the river through the park. We like to call it Riverjumping! Look for the picture of Belle at the end where she swings in warp drive. When she jumped out, she was somewhere in Tamil Nadu.
Hey - you guys should have stopped by - you probably had to pass our house (or within a block of it) to get to the park...
Next time, know that we're right there...clean 'rest facilities', snacks - we got it all!
Wishing you and your family a great weekend!
