I Stand Corrected

During last weekend's message, I used a surfing metaphor and mentioned, "By the way, none of us can relate to this because you can't be much further from surfing than Indiana." 

Ken Carlson, whose been attending GCC for about a year, wrote me today,

"Anyway attached are 2 pic's from south of the pier at Saint Joe. You can also Google "Third Coast Surf Shop" from New Buffalo. There is a lot of pictures there, as well. A friend of mine, who I've been surfing with for 38 years, moved back from Hawaii and has started a church that meets at the Weko Beach pavilion in Bridgeman, MI. He uses his surfing interest for the Lord."

I stand corrected.

I know what I'm trying for the first time this summer.  I'm going surfing. 

But, I do have to point out...YOU HAVE TO GO TO MICHIGAN TO DO IT!

A New Photo

My friend, Cody Baker, who I worked on the Dominoes video with, is not only a video genius, but quite the artist, as well.  Last night, I was pinged via Facebook that he had added a new photo of me. 

Kristin's, Cody's wife, said it well, "I love the irony that this was (drawn during a message) all about focus . . ."
