This weekend we're kicking off a new series, IMPACT.
Nobody joins a team in hopes that they will sit on the bench.
Nobody gives a gift and then hopes that it is never opened.
Nobody devotes years of service to a company and then plans that when they retire, nobody will notice.
Nobody dreams of dying and having an unattended funeral.
We live with this God-given longing to make an IMPACT. We can hide from it all we want, but inside every one of us, there is this incredible sense of fear, that our lives will never amount to what they should amount to.
The next few weeks, we'll ask these questions:
How can we maximize the impact of our life?
How can we leave a mark that will last?
How can we do more than just scratch the surface?
How can move from "random acts of kindness" that dissipate like smoke towards strategic, small interventions that create deep and lasting change?
How can we best leverage SMALL interventions of our time, energy, resources, and influence in cooperation with others to create a BIG impact?
I just finished crafting the message for this coming weekend. I CAN NOT WAIT to see how Jesus will unleash His power through us these next few weeks!
